What we do
Four areas of work, from empowering enablers to public awareness, and the ways we work with our members and partners.
What we do
Empowering enablers
Helping hubs, incubators, accelerators and training providers work together, raise quality and reach the support they need.
Access to finance
Widening the funding options open to founders — grants, loans, angel and venture investment — and helping them become investment-ready.
Regulatory change
Offering evidence-based input to public consultations and convening dialogue between the ecosystem and regulators, so that rules work for startups and small businesses.
Public awareness
Advancing digital and financial literacy, including through the Raqami programme with its partners.
How we work
- Facilitating collaboration: connecting startups, support organisations, public bodies and international partners.
- Promoting entrepreneurship: making Iraq's founders and their work visible at home and abroad.
- Awareness and public relations: campaigns and media work that help investors, policymakers and partners understand the ecosystem.
- Monitoring and evaluation: keeping shared, current data on the ecosystem, starting with the Iraq Ecosystem Map.
