AI training programme for CMC staff completed — A specialised training programme in artificial intelligence concluded under a partnership between the Communications and Media Commission (CMC) and Zain Iraq, in cooperation with Irada and KAPITA Research. After 40 training hours, CMC staff presented applied projects that turned the skills they had gained into practical tools for their work.

Irada: one platform for Iraq's entrepreneurship enablers (article) — An analytical article in issue 16 of Iraqi Business Landscape, a magazine published by KAPITA Research, on how support for entrepreneurship in Iraq is changing. Written from inside the ecosystem by Irada's founder, it reviews the work of enablers in recent years, the gaps left by scattered efforts, and why a shared platform was needed to coordinate them and link them with government and international partners.

Beauty and Entrepreneurship Forum at KAPITA (GEW 2025) — A day-long forum during Global Entrepreneurship Week brought together beauty brand founders, salon owners, distributors and specialists in Baghdad. Sessions covered the future of the skincare and cosmetics market, between scientific expertise and customer experience, and a beauty product's journey from factory to consumer. Supported by Vanilla, the Embassy of the Netherlands and Asiacell's Asas programme.

Product-Market Fit Secrets Forum at KAPITA (GEW 2025) — A forum in Baghdad on 23 November 2025 to help early-stage founders understand their market: how to test a product, identify real customer needs, move from a minimum viable product to data-informed decisions, and build connections with investors and mentors. Supported by Vanilla, the Embassy of the Netherlands and Asiacell's Asas programme.

Pitching Day and Coffee Roulette at Qaf Lab (GEW 2025) — Qaf Lab's Global Entrepreneurship Week programme with Irada opened with a Pitching Day, where participants first acted as the judging panel and then presented their own ideas for evaluation. On the second day, Coffee Roulette paired founders with investors for short, direct conversations and practical feedback on growing their projects. Supported by Asiacell through its Asas platform.

Founder skills sessions at Mosul Space (GEW 2025) — Alongside its climate hackathon, Mosul Space ran a series of sessions for founders during Global Entrepreneurship Week. A business development adviser explained the types of investment suited to each startup stage, how investors assess projects, and how to prepare a pitch deck and financials. Other sessions covered prompt engineering, English for entrepreneurs, and managing stress and mental health.

Entrepreneurs Meetup and career booths at Hub200 (GEW 2025) — On 20 November 2025, Hub200 and Irada held an Entrepreneurs Meetup on the platforms that have changed Iraq's technology sector, with speakers from local technology and digital-payments companies and career booths connecting attendees with employers. The same day, a time management workshop with the National Bank of Iraq offered students tools for organising tasks and working more productively.

Programmers Meetup and Coding Competition at Hub200 (GEW 2025) — Hub200's week for developers opened with a Programmers Meetup on 19 November 2025, where developers shared how they built digital solutions for local problems, followed by a talk on the Iraqi Programmers Syndicate's role in organising the software sector. University teams then took part in a two-day Coding Competition with judges and mentors, and a tech talk covered integration architecture for financial systems.

Women Entrepreneurs Forum Iraq 2025 at KAPITA — On 17 November 2025, KAPITA hosted a forum that brought together women entrepreneurs, investors, funders and support organisations. Two panels, 'Women-Led Innovation: How Do We Create It?' and 'From Participation to Leadership', discussed turning ideas into products that meet real market needs and building long-term careers. Supported by Vanilla, the Embassy of the Netherlands and Asiacell's Asas programme.

Climate Action Hackathon at Mosul Space (GEW 2025) — On 21 and 22 November 2025, a hackathon by Mosul Space and Irada brought programmers, media makers, activists and agriculture specialists together to design climate solutions for Nineveh on two tracks: advocacy campaigns and technology for climate. Talks by specialists in communication, sustainability, climate and environmental monitoring, a tree-planting campaigner and a filmmaker grounded ideas in local realities.

Women Techmakers at Hub200 (GEW 2025) — Women Techmakers, a day at Hub200 on 21 November 2025 organised with Irada, featured four women founders from technology, education, digital marketing and skincare sharing their experience. The programme also included a collage club, a knitting workshop and booths for handmade products.

AI Hackathon and AI week at Makers of Baghdad (GEW 2025) — Makers of Baghdad and Irada ran a week of hands-on AI activities from 17 to 23 November 2025. A two-day hackathon opened with a workshop on AI in the market and talks from companies applying it; teams then refined their ideas with private-sector entrepreneurs, and six qualified for the closing ceremony. The week also featured a fintech panel and workshops on creating images and video with AI.

Workshops and gatherings at Co Space, Najaf (GEW 2025) — Co Space in Najaf ran a free programme with Irada from 21 to 23 November 2025: a session on artificial intelligence and the future of entrepreneurship, a videography and visual creativity workshop, a gathering on preparing young people for the labour market, and a closing discussion on entrepreneurship in Iraq with Najaf as a model.
